Tips to succeed in your Campus France interview

General best practices — they help, but never guarantee visa approval.

  • •Prepare a clear, honest study project: why this programme, why Excelia, why France.
  • •Know your funding plan inside out — savings, loan, scholarships and family support.
  • •Be specific about your post-graduation intentions while staying realistic.
  • •Practise speaking about your CV in English, with concrete examples.
  • •Bring originals + photocopies of every document on the day of your appointment.

Why France, why Excelia

Is my degree recognised in India?

International accreditation, French recognition and Indian equivalence are different checks. Confirm each one for your exact programme before enrolling.

AACSB · EQUIS · AMBA · EFMD

Excelia Business School quadruple accreditation

2018

France–India mutual recognition agreement

Excelia Business School holds quadruple accreditation: AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA and EFMD Accredited — placing it among about 1% of business schools worldwide. Excelia Hotel & Tourism School holds UNWTO TedQual.

French master-level recognition may involve a Master's degree, RNCP level 7, a state ‘visa’ or ‘grade de Master’, where applicable. These designations are not interchangeable; check the exact qualification awarded.

Working while you study

Can I work while studying?

Part-time work can add experience and help with everyday expenses. It is not a replacement for your funding plan.

964 hours

Annual work limit for eligible student permit holders

≈20 hours/week

A term-time planning guide, not a separate legal weekly limit

Part-time opportunities

Eligible student residence-permit holders may work up to 964 hours per year. Opportunities can include campus jobs, student ambassador roles, hospitality and retail, or tutoring. Availability, language requirements and recruitment vary.

Internships

Internships (stages) form part of our programmes where included in the curriculum. In France, internships lasting more than 2 months generally require a legal minimum stipend; the internship agreement and applicable rules determine the details.

Income from part-time work should not be counted in your visa proof of funds.
